Assembling your Equitherm Glass Wok Lid is a quick and straightforward process. Follow this simple guide to put your lid together safely and securely.

What You Will Need:

  • Your Equitherm Glass Wok Lid components

  • A standard Phillips-head screwdriver

Parts Checklist

Before you begin, lay out all the pieces to ensure you have everything from the assembly kit:

  1. Tempered Glass Lid w/ Rim

  2. Black Plastic Handle (Please note: This handle is not oven safe)

  3. Red Silicone Gasket

  4. Small White Silicone Grommet

  5. Stainless Steel Washer

  6. Phillips-Head Screw

Step-by-Step Assembly Instructions

Step 1: Position the Red Gasket

Place your Tempered Glass Lid (1) on a flat, stable surface. Take the Red Silicone Gasket (3) and place it over the center hole on the top side of the glass.

  • Important: Make sure the completely flat side of the red gasket is resting directly against the glass.

Step 2: Place the Handle

Rest the Black Plastic Handle (2) directly on top of the Red Silicone Gasket. Line up the hole in the handle with the hole in the gasket and the glass.

Step 3: Insert the White Grommet (From the Underside)

Hold the handle and lid together and carefully tilt the lid up so you can access the bottom. From the undersideof the glass, push the Small White Silicone Grommet (4) up into the center hole.

Step 4: Add the Washer and Screw

Slide the Stainless Steel Washer (5) onto the Phillips-Head Screw (6). Insert the screw (with the washer on it) up through the bottom of the white grommet.

Step 5: Tighten and Secure

Using your Phillips-head screwdriver, turn the screw clockwise to thread it into the plastic handle.

  • INSTALLATION NOTICE: Tighten the screw from the underside of the lid until the handle feels firm and secure. Do not over tighten. Applying too much force can crack the tempered glass or strip the threading inside the plastic handle.

Once the handle is secure, give it a gentle wiggle to ensure everything is locked in place. Give your newly assembled lid a quick wash with warm, soapy water, and you are ready to get cooking!
